There are a lot of things people can consider when installing a new floor or having a feature installed in existing floors.  Yes if you want you can do things to enhance the floor you have now with the installation of a medallion or boarder.  The sky is the limit.  On this page we will try and show some of the different things you can consider.

Woods:  You can select any kind of wood which you can think of.  There are thousands of styles, colors, hardness, width and then quality.  Here is just a sample of what you can consider.

So as you can see there are hundreds of colors and styles to choose from.  You can also use boarders around center pieces like fireplaces or windows etc . . . like below.

Or you can choose to add other features such as medallions to spice up a doorway, bay window or some other feature of your home.
